Is that even a doable process? Good lord I hope so. I have been living in a state of extreme disorganization for one year too many. Chaos might work for some, but not for me. I can't think clearly when things are so out of place, and yet for the past 5 or so years I have let things in my life fall into shambles. I am mostly speaking about my physical life, but the emotional/spiritual seem to follow the physical and visa versa... I want to take back that pride I once had in having control over the things in my life. The thing about indifference is once you have a taste of it, it becomes the way you live your everyday life. In my case anyway. I just stopped caring about keeping my living space clean. I don't have organisms growing on my walls or anything, but as far as organization goes it's a mess! Clothes are everywhere. Books are stacks to the ceiling instead of put away on my bookshelves. Rejected attempts at writing crinkled into balls spread all over everywhere. It is not a healthy environment and I really need to start embracing more order in my day-to-day life.
